Good Faith Estimate
At Romero Counseling: Internal Bloom, I believe in providing transparent information about the cost of therapy so you can make informed decisions about your care.
Under the No Surprises Act, uninsured and self-pay clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the expected cost of behavioral health services.
Because therapy is individualized, the total cost of treatment will depend on the frequency and duration of services. Your Good Faith Estimate is based on the services reasonably expected to be provided and is not a guarantee of the number of sessions you will need.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for scheduled services or upon request.
If your final bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
